Tech Talks: Sustainable Systems of Colorado and SkyTran

Today we’re talking to Dr. R. Paul Williamson about his foundation and the work that he does within it. Here’s what he had to say about the SkyTran and Smart Home projects (Today we focus on SkyTran and join us next week as Dr. R. Paul Williamson discusses the Smart Home Project in more detail):

As we move forward, sustainable and renewable energy is becoming increasingly important. Companies and businesses increasingly are trying to use solar and wind energies to supplement their fossil fuel intakes. The general public, on the other hand, has more limited access to sustainable energies. Sustainable Systems of Colorado is a non-profit organization that works to promote sustainable energy within Colorado. Two of their biggest projects have been SkyTran, a monorail system that runs on solar and hydraulic energy, and the Sustainable Smart Home which is a renovated home that uses a variety of modern and old technologies that are based around renewable resources.
