Taking Action: KGNU Series Introducing Peace Activist Chuck Kaufman

“We don’t have many victories so I want to go down fighting.”

Chuck Kaufman is the next guest to our series on the Early Morning News we call Taking Action.  Peace and social justice activists will be highlighted to hear what events shaped their activism today.

Kaufman is Co-Coordinator with the group Alliance for Global Justice.  He has led multiple delegations to Cuba, Honduras, and Nicaragua.   He said that early political work including working on the 1968 Eugene McCarthy presidential campaign as a kid led to where he is today.  But he also named growing up in a Republican family as influencing his work.
