Stoned Shakespeare: Bowls with the Bard Presents, “Midsummer Night’s Dream” Sep 22 – 24

Bowls with the Bard as a production company started as a podcast, where Micaela Mannix dives into the fascinating details of Shakespeare and his work while getting stoned with a guest. After moving to Colorado, the next iteration of Bowls with the Bard premiers September 21st and runs through the 24th.It’s Stoned Shakespeare, and the company is performing A Midsummer Might’s Dream at the Coffee Joint in Denver. During the show, both the patrons and the performers are invited to imbibe in marijuana, as the antics ensue. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with Executive Producer, Artistic Director and performer, Micaela Mannix, about the evolution of her company.
