Bentham Paulos looks at the stories of three cities – Boulder, Minneapolis, Minn. and Madison, WI – that are taking charge of their energy future. He writes about it in "Empowered" and he'll speak about the book this evening  from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Flagstaff Room at the East Boulder Community Center at 5660 Sioux Drive.

With lower temperatures upon us, more and more people are struggling to pay their heating bills. I spoke with Jim Williams and Theresa Cullen with Boulder County Health and Human Services about the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), financial assistance to pay the heating bills for the home.  Find out more here.
