After nine months in custody at the ICE GEO center in Aurora, a judge ruled yesterday that Immigrant rights activist Jeanette Vizguerra was free to leave ICE custody on a $5000 bond. Jeanette walked out of the detention center hours later in a pink sweat suit and into the arms of her children. Today, the champion of progressive causes from labor rights to Palestinian liberation held a press conference outside of the federal courthouse in downtown Denver.
