Senate Committee Defeats Terminally Ill Patient Options Bill

A bill that would have given terminally ill patients the option to take medication to end their lives failed in a Senate committee on Wednesday on a party line vote. A similar bill gets its first hearing today in the Democratic controlled House judiciary committee. Bente Birkeland has more.
