Sandbags helped to keep water out of homes during flood

During the flood sand bags were an effective way to reduce the amount of water that came into homes. Many of the local home improvement stores ran out of sand bags during the flood. On September 13th KGNU’s Shelley Schlender brought us a report from Pioneer Sand and Gravel.
