Safety tips for today’s solar eclipse; 49,000 Xcel customers still without power since Saturday’s outage

On today’s Morning Magazine, a solar eclipse will be visible across much of North America on Monday April 8. Southeast Colorado will see up to 75% of the sun covered. You’ll get some context and eye safety tips from an expert. Then, the Denver Art Museum is preparing to reach out to tribes following new federal regulations related to the Native American sacred and funerary objects they have. You’ll hear about their plans. After that, this weekend was a big one for women college basketball.  CU Boulder’s team didn’t make it to the national championship game but for the first time since 2013, both the CU men’s and women’s teams made it to the March Madness tournament. We’ll hear more about that. Also, we’ll speak about the power outages that led tens of thousands to lose power Saturday – many of whom are still without power.
