Ride Walk See

Bobbie Benson of Boulder and Laurie Gibb of Denver are the organizers of the inaugural “Ride. Walk. See.” event being held Saturday September 12th in Denver. The event offers three self-guided tour loops beginning from Union Station, with the aim to raise awareness of the numerous benefits from using public transportation and the unique access it offers passengers to public art in the metro area.

Benson and Gibb were inspired to create the event after attending the People’s Climate March in New York City last year.  Ride. Walk. See.  shows people how to use public-transportation routes that also showcase public art around the city.

KGNU reporter Tony White rode along with Benson and Gibb one of the loops earlier this week.
