Resistance Radio – Students March to the Polls

On Thursday October 25th, high-school students, some teachers and supporters marched to the South Boulder Recreation Center to cast their first ballots and encourage others to vote.  The students who participated wanted to buck the trend of low election participation by young people.

Anya Aidun told KGNU’s Emily Ambory that the experience of marching with fellow young first-time voters was powerful. “You know that those votes are going to create the future that you and your peers want, regardless of political standing, it was powerful.”
