Thursday, April 9
Day of Advocacy for public education, organized by Great Education Colorado
From 8:00 am-3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Denver. The day includes free workshops and lectures from local public education professionals, teaching advocacy best practices and spreading the word about the intricacies of funding in public education.
Friday, April 10
Protest in front of Congressman Gabe Evans’ (R-CO) Northglenn Office
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 10701 Melody Dr., Suite 500, Northglenn. Weekly demonstration. The organizers say, “We protest Gabe Evans’ weakness as he remains silent in the face of the staggering level of corruption and other unconstitutional actions of this administration.” More information can be found at mobilize.us.
Saturday, April 11
A preparatory teach-in for the May Day Student Walkout, organized by Denver Students for a Democratic Society
This is a free training on organizing and response networks primarily for those in academia at all education levels. The meet-up will be held at Aurora Fire Station #1 – 9801 E 16th Ave in Aurora. More info at smvmt.us/ den-rise-up.
Indivisible: NO SAVE ACT Protest
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — S. Wadsworth Blvd. & W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood. A weekly demonstration in Lakewood with messaging concerning the SAVE ACT on the American people. More information can be found at Indivisible’s page on mobilize.us.
Rally and visibility event at BI corporate headquarters in Gunbarrel
2:00-3:30 p.m. Hosted by Immigrant Partnership Team and SoBoCo. BI is a wholly owned subsidiary of GEO Group, the private prison company, and they make ankle bracelets for ICE detainees. Bring a sign and tell BI to end its contract with ICE. The BI Corporate Headquarters is located at 6265 Gunbarrel Ave. More info can be found at mobilize.us/sobocoindivisible.

Indivisible: Ice Out for Good
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — West 80th Ave. & Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada. Protestors will be standing against ICE and honoring Alex Pretti, who had ties to the Aurora community. Weekly demonstration.
