In an effort to amplify the work being done on the streets every single day by dedicated changemakers standing up for justice and speaking out against those in power who are attacking our friends and neighbors, we’re going to start posting a “Resistance Calendar” to our website on Thursdays.
Here are some of the events, actions, and protests happening in Colorado over the next seven days.
Friday, 6/27:
What: Protest Outside Gabe Evans’ Office
Who is organizing: Grassroots
When: Friday, June 27, starting 11 a.m
Where: 10701 Melody Dr suite 500, Northglenn, CO 80234
Why: Organizers say, “We gather peacefully at Gabe Evans’ Northglenn Office every Friday between 11am and 1pm to urge him to have the courage to speak with us, his constituents. We plead with him to defend our Freedom, our Constitution, and our Democracy. We protest Gabe Evans’ weakness as he remains silent in the face of the staggering level of corruption and other unconstitutional actions of this administration.”

What: Fourth-Friday Fight Backs
Who is organizing: Indivisible

Where: East 112th Avenue & Colorado Boulevard
Why: Organizers say, “Monthly Rallies Convening at hosted Corners of Colorado every fourth Friday of the month. Let’s go national!”

What: Stonewall Anniversary March
Who is organizing: Colorado Palestine Coalition, Denver Anti War Action, Denver FRSO, Gay Liberation Front for Palestine, Breads and Roses Legal Center
When: Saturday, June 28 @ 11 a.m.
Where: Cheesman Park
Why: Organizers say, “Pride is the month to fight. This month isn’t for cops, corporations, or pinkwashing. We fight for Palestine. We fight for our lives. We fight for the kids. We fight to honor the elders.”

What: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s Awareness & Trans Rights
Who is organizing: Grassroots
When: Saturday, May 28, noon – 5 p.m.
Where: Colorado State Capitol Hill
Why: Organizers say, “We need more awareness for MMIP, water rights, sovereignty to all tribes, land back by any means even imminent domain, the abolishment of the HYDE amendment, more Education about the Indigenous People that have been here way before any colonization, the American Holocaust that has caused over 100,000,000+ Dead Indigenous People.”

What: Stand Up Superior! A Tesla/Trump Takedown
Who is organizing: Volunteer organized

Why: Organizers say, “Come join us on Saturdays from 11am to 2pm to peacefully protest the corruption and hatred coming from the head of our government currently. This will be an ongoing event until the madness stops.”

What: Tesla Takedown Littleton

Why: Organizers say, “We are taking action at Tesla. Sell your Teslas, dump or short their stock, join the picket lines. Hurting Tesla is stopping Musk. Stopping Musk will help save lives and our democracy. The stakes couldn’t be higher. No one is coming to save us—not politicians, not the media.”

Who is organizing: FOX Takedown

Why: Organizers say, “FOX Takedown is a grassroots non-violent protest movement against Rupert Murdoch’s right-wing propaganda machine. It is the nationwide version of Truth Tuesdays, a group that has protested at FOX News Headquarters in New york City every Tuesday since August 2021. Fox News made the GOP’s Trump/Musk coup possible! For almost 40 years, Rupert Murdoch’s rightwing propaganda network has lied to the American people, brainwashing millions and setting the stage for a GOP billionaire coup. Now, FOX is TRUMP STATE TV – full stop.” Join this local movement in showing our distaste in christofascist propaganda this Saturday and every Saturday.”

What: Indivisible Bridge to Brighton Protests
Who is organizing: What Democracy Looks Like – Colorado
When: Saturday, June 28, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Where: East Bromley Lane & South 4th Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601
Why: Organizers say, “We’re meeting to protest CD 8 House Member Gabe Evans, his poor voting record against the interests of the people of Colorado, and his refusal to hold an in-person town hall. This is a peaceful protest. No violence of any kind will be tolerated. Bring your signs and enthusiasm! American flags will be available if you don’t have a sign.”

What: All Out for Jeanette Vizguerra

Why: Organizers say, “This is a recurring protest every Monday from 6-8pm until Jeanette is free!”

What: Free Jeanette Vizguerra
Why: “Jeanette Vizguerra, a Colorado community leader and mother, has led the fight against her own deportation since 2009. She is the mother of four children – one of whom is a permanent resident, and the other three are U.S. citizens — as well as a grandmother. ICE detained Ms. Vizguerra without warning on March 17, 2025. The agency appears to be readying to deport her, despite not possessing a valid deportation order. As of 10:15am on Tuesday, March 18, she continues to be detained inside GEO. Her attorneys have raised concerns about serious legal errors. If ICE does not change course, they will be ripping her away from her family and community without any concern for her due process rights.”
