Radio Bookclub: Travel Light, Move Fast – Alexandra Fuller

Alexandra Fuller spent her childhood in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and she has written about growing up there in a series of best-selling memoirs including Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight and Leaving Before the Rains Come. Her new book, Travel Light, Move Fast, is also a memoir but tells the story of her father Tim Fuller. The book begins with the death of her father in Budapest and chronicles her journey through grief. While she was writing the book she lost her son.  Alexandra Fuller joins us for a special edition of the Radio Bookclub to talk about grief, bereavement and survival.

The author will then join us in-studio for a discussion which we broadcast on the 4th Thursday of every month at 9am.
