The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. Philip C. Sneed, the Center’s President and CEO, announced that he will be retiring in June after an almost 50 year career in the arts himself. He said leading the Arvada Center has been the biggest achievement of his life. KGNU’s Abby O’Brien sat down with Sneed to discuss the history and legacy of the Center, and his own career.
