Pew Report on the State of News Media: Local News in a Digital Age

The Pew Research Group releases a report today on the state of news media in 3 major markets, including Denver. Amy Mitchell, lead author of the report and the Pew Research Center’s director of journalism research joins us to share the findings.

Regarding radio in the Denver, the report notes that, while most stations lacked “expansive websites and did not appear to produce web-exclusive content”, KGNU is exceptional in that it “… reposts content from its locally produced morning show each weekday.”
