Outsources: Through the Door of Life: Transitions in Academia, Judaism and Relationships kgnu
During our conversation, we discuss Joy’s childhood and adolescent years in Upstate New York. And how growing up Jewish in a largely non-Jewish area prepared her, in an odd way, to come out as transgender. We also delve into her relationships with difficult father, her first wife and children, and her work-related “negotiations” around her gender transition at Yeshiva University.
