Outsources: The Drag Whisperer

Join Angela Palermo for an interview with Keith Garcia, a Denver area filmmaker, film curator and lover of drag performance.  Keith spent a decade working as Programming Manager for the Denver Film Society.  He has also served as Creative Manager of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas in Littleton.  At present, he is a contributor to Westword, Denver’s news and entertainment weekly.

Keith loves film and drag so much that he is currently working on The Heels Have Eyes, a documentary on the Denver area drag scene.  We discuss his work as a film programmer, his fascination with drag and plans for the drag documentary.
