Outsources – Talking Comedy with Ren Q. Dawe, Part Two

Host Elise Matatall continues the conversation with trans activist and comedian Ren Q. Dawe.

Ren Q. Dawe is a trans comedian, activist, and bonafide silly goose. A “queer icon” according to Out Magazine, Ren is the first trans comedian to perform (and tinkle) in all 50 states with the historic “Here to Pee” tour raising funds for LGBTQ nonprofits nationwide.

Ren is the organizer of the critically acclaimed Colorado Queer Comedy Festival, has performed in dozens of festivals and comedy clubs across the country, and has worked alongside comedy legends such as Sean Patton, Gina Brillon, Jaye McBride, Rhys Nicholson, Sam Tallent, and Craig Ferguson. In addition to making jokes, he makes the meanest cast-iron cornbread on this side of the Mississippi.
