OutSources: Mutual Aid and Community Support in a Time of Crisis

OutSources’ guest this week is Dr. tara jae, founder and executive director of Colorado-based nonprofits Youth Seen and Black Pride Colorado.

Dr. jae discusses the impact of federal and institutional efforts to withdraw support from diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and in particular organizations led by queer, trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color (QTBIPOC). Dr. jae also explores how community members and organizations are responding, particularly through the BIPOC & LGBTQIA Non-Profit Mutual Aid Fund.
