Outsources: LGBT Culture and Politics

Join Outsources collective members Glenda Russell and Janis Bohan for a conversation with Rea Carey, executive director of the National LGBTQ Task Force.

Several collective members interviewed Rae after her State of the Movement speech at the Creating Change conference in Denver last month. We’ll share clips from that interview with additional commentary, including topics like religious exemptions, protests at the conference, and persistent challenges in the wake of great progress.

As a bonus, we’ll also explore the latest “Queer geography” research examining how many queer folks reside in the US and where we’re located.
