Outsources – Lauren Lubin: “We Exist: Beyond the Binary”

We talk with Lauren Lubin, former CU basketball player and now the producer and star of “We Exist: Beyond the Binary” – a film exploring life outside the gender binary. The film challenges traditional constructs that see gender as male or female, exploring instead the vast range of gender identities that are available if we look beyond “either-or.”

We talk with Lauren about the film and its showing here, about the meaning of gender, about their personal story, and about their work in the international “We Exist” movement.

To learn more, join them for one or both of the events scheduled on September 6, during Lauren’s visit to Boulder:

Tuesday, Sept. 6, 12:00-3:00 UMC 235, CU Boulder: Premier of “We Exist: Beyond the Binary,” followed by a Q & A with Lauren and the film’s director, Andrew Seger.

Tuesday, Sept. 6, 7:00-9:00 p.m., Unity Spiritual Center, Valmont & Folsom, Boulder: Dialogue with Lauren and Anthony on gender, sports, and education.
