OutSources: Finding the beats within the LGBTQ communities

OutBoulder County Executive Director Mardi Moore and Senior Officer of Public Opinion Insights of the Colorado Health Foundation Jace Woodrum discuss parts of the surveys their agencies have presented recently about the current Colorado LGBTQ communities.

Their surveys (and the upcoming census) are vital to these agencies and our communities for knowledge, opinion, visibility, funding sources, representation, and programming.  We focus particularly on mental health and substance use issues; what our perceptions are of need, competency of our providers, hate crime concerns, and more.

More information about the Colorado Health Foundation survey and the OutBoulder Survey can be found on each agency’s website in addition to the previously covered One Colorado health care follow up survey, Closing the Gap.
