Outsources: Chris Lehnertz, The Grand Canyon’s First Female Superintendent

Chris Lehnertz, first female superintendent of the National Park Service’s Grand Canyon, joins Karen Raforth on Outsources. She has a long career in National Parks Service (NPS) and before that spent years in the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC. Chris will discuss the environment, EPA, Grand Canyon, NPS, and what it is like to be a married, out lesbian working for the federal government across the USA.

Lehnertz is in town for the Conference on World Affairs at CU Boulder and spoke Monday afternoon on biodiversity, conservation and the national parks.
