“Everybody intuitively understands how lucky, how very fortunate we are.”
Len Barron says Thanksgiving is one of his favorite holidays because it gives people an opportunity to be grateful “if you put friends and family and food together, my goodness, what a beginning for all kinds of lovely things to happen.”
May Snowden says she wakes up every morning and gives thanks for her breath, for her body, for her life “I have so many things to be thankful for,” but she says, being thankful is something people need to work at “gratitude is really an attitude, and how do you get that attitude?”
Barron and Snowden will present an evening on gratitude at the Boulder Public Library downtown branch in the Canyon Theater 6.30-8pm on Tuesday November 10th. People will be invited to share their own stories of gratitude in this season of giving thanks. Len Baron says that gratitude is something that all people experience “everybody intuitively understands how lucky, how very fortunate we are.”
