Ocean Ambassadors

Meghan Heaney-Grier says anyone who is interested in water conservation and water quality can become an ocean ambassador.

The Colorado Ocean Coalition is recruiting applicants for an upcoming Ocean Ambassador training. Over the course of 5 weeks Ocean Ambassador go through 40 hours of training, learning from scientists and experts about some of the most pressing global environmental issues, with a particular focus on the world’s oceans and fresh water resources. Once training is complete ambassadors will reach out to the community through 75 hours of volunteer outreach.
