Every year so much good music comes out. I like to share a representation of some of the great music I spent time with. Music that asked me to listen again and take a fresh view with each encounter. I’m drawn to artists like Salvant who keeps me guessing with what she’ll come up with next, Cahen who shows a variety of influences while creating a sound of her own, and Jadsa who brings a fresh approach to Brazilian music but still flies under the radar . Some of these, like Lackner and Brahem, are releases I hope you will take the time to just sit back and enjoy the beauty.
