Top 10 Albums of 2025: DJ Jules

Dang, this was a fun one and it was challenging since we’ve received so much new music this year. 2025 gifted us gorgeous grooves from some incredible musicians. This is a true list of what I’ve been vibing out to. I’ve leaned into my girlhood era, embracing the female vocals in a phenomenal way. Seriously, there are some power house vocals found on this top ten.

Hayley Williams has captured my heart and soul. If you’ve seen me strutting my stuff around town, or through DIA, know that I was listening to EDAABP. Hayley Williams has used this release to connect with her fanbase, artists that create her merch, indie record shops, and small venues. She is a force and I’m so here for it since she gives me that edginess that a Jersey girl craves.

Another incredible woman that I’ve deeply embraced is Olivia Dean. This lady has taken the world by storm and I am completely lost in this sea of goodness. Her album, The Art of Loving, is a beautiful landscape of all things love: friend love, family, romantic, idealistic concepts we’ve been taught, how hard it is to lose, and more. I’ve fallen in love with my friends and my life is such a fun way thanks to her show and her sounds.

I’ve also embraced the laid- back, let’s chill, and welcome the mellow mood sounds. Some of these artists (Loaded Honey, Hajaj, and Oracle Sisters) create the perfect soundtrack to help carry you throughout your day, without causing too much of a distraction. Other albums force you to stop what you’re doing and just freaking dance (looking at you Parcels)!
