While 2024 has been a standout year for music, when programming my radio shows I’m typically appreciating that from a singles perspective. So, it was a pleasure to revisit several albums that I’ve selected heavily from this year (Vibronics, Mykal Rose et al., The Loving Paupers), explore a few I’d initially underappreciated (Indus, Jamie xx, Blockhead), and acknowledge some artists that have impacted my broader listening (Etran De L’Air, Los Chicos Criollos, Claude Fontaine). Plus there’s one November release (The Hempolics) that should not be ignored!
