My Spotify Wrapped would make it seem that I only have listened to three albums this year…. This might be true, but I enjoyed a ton of awesome music this year. Definitely a good year for music. Felt overwhelmed by choice of music this year and it was hard to find time to look hard for new stuff. My one year old had to listen to a lot of music scrolling this year, he heard a lot of intros to a lot of good and bad music this year.
Medium Build made my favorite album of the year far and away. It’s super poppy, but I feel like it’ll be one of my favorite releases for a long time. It’s like a never ending bag of chips that you don’t get sick of and doesn’t make your mouth dry. It was hard to leave Zeroh’s EP off the list, as he had one of my favorite songs of the year; DON’T BREAK
