She’s performed live during one of our live broadcasts from the early days of the Underground Music Showcase and has stopped by our performance studio on a number of other occasions. On a cold February morning, Danielle Ate The Sandwich made her way through the snow and ice to play a few songs for us. She caught up with 99 on the Morning Sound Alternative to chat about her work for the new documentary of Edith Lake Wilkinson called Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson. In addition to playing music from the soundtack, she also shared a classic version of ’17 and 53′ as well as a tender cover of ‘My Girl’ – she will play live on 3/1/15 at Shine in Boulder.
