Ornette Coleman is a musical giant. He was one of the major innovators of the free jazz movement of the 1960s. His work as an improvisational musician and composer is monumental. KGNU’s Sam Fuqua had a chance to speak with Ornette Coleman in the Fall of 2006, shortly after the release of his ‘Sound Grammar’ album.
