Black History Month Programming

February is Black History Month, and KGNU is honoring the rich legacy and contributions of Black communities with special programming throughout the month. From music to storytelling, history to culture, we’re amplifying Black voices and celebrating the deep impact of Black artists, activists, and visionaries. Tune in and engage with us as we reflect, learn, and uplift together.

  • 2/6 Blues Legacy with Greg Schultz – Featuring all Black blues musicians
  • 2/9 A Classic Monday with Ron Nadel – Featuring all Black composers
  • 2/11 Seolta Gael with Rodger Hara – A show featuring Black Irish musicians
  • 2/16 Opera Box with Ron Nadel – All Black opera singers
  • 2/17 Kabaret  – Destination Freedom Live Broadcast from the Aurora Fox Theatre in Denver
