When someone gets a cancer diagnosis it can be devastating and not just for them, the effects ripple out through the entire family. CU student Caleigh Gearheart experienced this first hand as she watched her Mom go through that initial diagnosis, treatment and now recovery and she shares her story this morning. We also hear a report on the most pristine marine ecosystem on earth. The Ross Sea is the most productive stretch of water in the Southern Ocean and home to high concentrations of wildlife and an incredible array of animals, many found nowhere else on the planet. But it is under threat. Isaac Chestler brings us a report on John Weller, a photographer whose work helped to protect these fish and their ecosystem. An exhibition of his work is currently on display in Boulder.
