Misterman: An Irreverent and Gripping New Drama Premieres at The Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder

Headlining Boulder Arts Week at the Dairy Center for the Arts is a new regional premiere of Misterman, an intriguing new production that presents a seductive and terrifying portrait of madness that commands your attention throughout. Written by Irish Playwright Enda Walsh, the show follows Thomas Magill, who lives in Innisfree with his mother. Thomas is enthused with religious fervor, but finds himself surrounded by evil. In fact, Thomas thinks that ‘sin has become our religion’ and sees it as his ‘work’ to save the townsfolk from their selfinflicted doom. Misterman features the onstage talent of Craig MacArthur, as well as the voice of stage and film actress Olympia Dukakis, who join a cast of great local and regional talent.

Veronica Straight -Lingo had the chance to speak to Melissa Firlit, the Director of Misterman, as well as Lighting Designer Elaine Wong and Actor Craig MacArthur about the show, and their efforts to bring it to Boulder.
