Mineral Rights Bill Moving Through Senate

State lawmakers have largely held off on introducing oil and gas legislation until the Governor’s task force can make recommendations. But a bill initially passed in the Senate that would require cities and counties to compensate mineral owners who aren’t able to develop oil and gas because of local regulations.
