Living With The Dead

Kim Mooney and Maeve Conran discuss living with the dead in the context of Halloween, which is the only national holiday in the US focused on death –  but it doesn’t make us want to have the dead around.  However in some societies, staying in touch with loved ones who have died or relating directly to the spirit world provides comfort and cultural context.   We look at how living with the dead works for us, or doesn’t.  Today’s guest is Carmen Mirelez who is the Operations Manager at El Comite de Longmont and was on the Dia de Los Muertos planning committee for the exhibit at the Longmont Museum.
