
We speak with Ebenezer Norman, a Denver resident who is originally from Liberia. He established the non-profit New Dimension of Hope, to build schools in his home country. He believes that educating girls in particular can help improve the standard of living for entire communities. He had to delay opening the first school due to the Ebola outbreak, but Norman just recently returned from Liberia where in July, he opened the first school that welcomed 102 elementary school children.
