Join us for an enchanting evening of music and community at the Sister Winds Foundation Fundraiser Concert! We are thrilled to showcase the Mystic Choir, and an enchanting DANCE PARTY with beats from DJ Akacia Rose, and plus some surprise artists and special guests.
About Sister Winds Foundation: Sister Winds Foundation has been serving the Front Range of Colorado with 12 years of family festivals, shining a spotlight on and uplifting women in the world of music . We create spaces where ALL Genders are welcomed, with a commitment to music, community, and personal enrichment.
Since the pandemic, we had one online festival and then have been resting, in the dreaming phase. Now we’re stirring and waking with new ideas and projects. This fundraiser marks the beginning of an exciting journey as we rekindle our passion for music, unity, building a global community, and adding more projects to our long term visions (like preservations of natural healing, herbal medicines, indigenous wisdom, and 10-15 year plan to begin an orphanage in Latin America).
The Funds Raised at this event will help spark Sister Winds Guatemala (Hermanas Del Viento) where we will be featuring Indigenous Maya Healers- creating an event for them to introduce themselves, and their work to a larger audience- providing translators, and raising funds for longer term promotions and supplies needed for their practices. Many of them are carrying codes of healing that the west can highly benefit from, yet language and technology is often a barrier for them to reach a larger audience. Thus our event Feb 24th in Guatemala will help build bridges of wisdom and culture online and in-person.
What to Expect for September 30th:
Mystic Choir: We are gathering Singers (more deets if you want to join the Choir https://www.facebook.com/events/689833606365983/689833616365982). This Intuitive Choir might just transport you to another realm with harmonies and soul expression and intention.
Akacia Rose DJ set: Get ready to get in your body and dance to the World sounds of Akacia Rose. Her energy behind the mixes will stir your spirit and get you moving..
Surprise Artists and Guests: We have some incredible surprises in store for you, including talented musicians and special guests who will add their unique magic to the evening.
