Standup Comedy Show. Rise Comedy. January 7. 8pm
Joe Mack wants you to see these hilarious comics and wants to buy you a drink. Is he trying to buy your love? Kind of. Your regularly priced ticket of $14 (or $17 at the door) will entitle you to make Joe a bit poorer and a lot happier.
Comedy has the power to change the world. But it’s better with a cocktail. And even better with a free cocktail.
Comics:
Ali Kareem is a stand-up comic based in Denver. He’s a 3x finalist for The Best Comedian in Omaha presented by the Omaha Entertainment Arts & Awards Committee and won the Omaha Funnybone Clash of Comics. Featured on High plains Comedy festival X2, Boulder Comedy festival, Fountain comedy festival
Originally from Baghdad, Ali worked as an interpreter for the United States Military in Iraq, which helped him obtain U.S. citizenship. He can be seen performing all over Colorado.
Sunshine Holmes. Giving the vibe of everyone’s weird aunt, Sunshine Holmes is goofy and lovable & completely irresponsible. Who knows what she’ll say next? Certainly not her. It’s been said that watching her comedy is like watching a true crime drama play out in real time. She’s a mom, a lesbian, an educator, and a sexy hoarder. She’s been called the “Love Child of Betty White and Bill Nye”. Her prime objective in comedy and all of life is to “HAVE FUN!”
Noah Ciel is a fifteen year old standup comedian. He often performs at the world famous Comedy Works, doing sets opening for big names like Ralph Barbosa, Brad Williams and Dave Attell. He writes a lot of jokes at school which makes him the first person to be canceled in math class.
Joe Mack is a trained actor and improviser who performed in Chicago for 20 years. His work includes The Onion. He is currently doing standup in Denver at Comedy Works and Rise Comedy. Joe graduated from an Ivy League University and has been milking that for 40 years. Like his appearances in the Onion, Joe is silly, irreverent, and unintentionally offensive.
