A Boulder treasure, guitarist Nicolò Spera, joins us in Joaquin Rodrigo’s Fantasía para un Gentilhombre, a charming concerto with movements that are based on Spanish dances from the Seventeenth Century. We finish with a delightful discovery, Symphony No. 3 in G Minor by the Nineteenth Century French composer, Louise Farrenc, a contemporary of Mendelssohn and Robert Schumann. It’s a work of great beauty and emotional variety. Come, join us!
