Hunter Stone: “Portraits of the New/Old West” album release with guests River Mann
Hunter Stone
Hunter Stone has always been inspired by the imagery of the Western Frontier. His music ranges from heartfelt story songs (three chords and the truth), all the way to full-volume rockers with belting vocals and slide-bent guitar solos, creating a unique cocktail of Americana self-dubbed — Western Rock. His debut album, “Portraits of the New/Old West,” features vignettes of characters from the Rocky Mountains, both yesterday and today. The album features themes of western expansion, water shortages, moving to Mars, and general rootin’, tootin’ cowboy-type shit.
