COFOH & FNW: My Bloody Valentine w/ Peter Cowpe

February 16 @ 8:30 pm MST

Announcing the first Colorado Festival of Horror (COFOH) event of 2024 featuring “Harry Warden/The Miner” actor, Peter Cowper, in person! Bloody hearts abound! 7:30 pm opening, 8:30 pm film, 10:00 pm Q&A.

Colorado Festival of Horror (COFOH) and Friday Night Weird are joining forces to bring you a special screening of the 1981 classic slasher “My Bloody Valentine”! Joining us in person is actor Peter Cowper who played Harry Warden, “The Miner” killer in the film! Peter will be offering his autograph both before and after the film on 8x10s and posters or on items that you bring! Also, don’t miss a Q&A with Peter Cowper, immediately following the film, hosted by COFOH’s own Smurf!

There’s more than one way to lose your heart! Valentine’s Day is coming around and the young people of the small mining town of Valentine’s Bluffs are organizing a party. A few decades earlier an explosion at the mine trapped six miners underground. One, Harry Warden, survived, though in a deranged state. Warden is sent to a mental hospital but escapes and murders those he deems responsible for the mine accident. Now people are being brutally murdered again! Has Harry Warden returned?… (George Mihalka, 1981, Canada, 1:30, R)
