A native son of Crested Butte, Clint Eccher is a self-taught painter who focuses on the sense of being free in his life – free from constrictions, expectations, ignorance. His paintings are an excellent example of freedom in the world of art itself. His latest work consists of human-like forms combined with narrative scrawling arising out of each piece’s creation. Underpinning all his work is a commanding chaos that draws the eye to find something new at each glance. Haunting, enchanting and fascinating, his works ask us to contemplate what it means to be human. Don’t miss the opportunity to view this unusual work.
