Clay Rose, Singer-Songwriter night w/guest Karen Finch @ Roots Music Project

March 21 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm MDT

Clay Rose is a Colorado singer-songwriter and frontman for the Gasoline Lollipops. Clay’s authentic, soulful songwriting and lyrics make him a “must-see” on the Colorado music scene. We are honored to host Clay for a series of intimate “listening room” experiences at the Roots Music Project warehouse.
“We’re going to talk about the songwriting craft, life influences, heartbreak, and all of the experiences that fuel good songwriting”, Clay explains to a recent audience.

On March 21st, Clay will be joined by guest Karen Finch

Karen Finch is a singer-songwriter from south of Boulder, Colorado with a bluesy, soulful vocal style once described as “singing from her spleen” – raw and emotive. She accompanies herself with acoustic slide and standard guitar. Her original songwriting is an externalization of her emotional experiences in life, often creating a visceral connection with her audience. Karen has actively performed solo as well as with her Janis Joplin tribute band Purely Pearl and lively cover band Contagious across Colorado’s Front Range and beyond since beginning her pursuit of music in 2004.

All ages welcome.
