Black Movement Festival: Molodi Workshop

February 24 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm MST

MOLODI is a performance ensemble that takes body percussion to the extreme, stepping, tapping, rhyming, snapping, flipping, and clapping from coffee shops and poetry circles to STOMP, Cirque du Soleil, and the #1 hit movie Stomp The Yard. With speed and precision, Molodi blends collegiate stepping, tap, gumboots, beatbox, poetry, and hip-hop dance with guerilla-style theatre and robust personalities that bring a high-energy, rhythmic experience to life.

“Molodi is all percussion and presentation. Their combination of sight and sound is new, fresh, and amazing.”

– Dr. Tasha C. Toy, Director of Multicultural and International Student Programs, Berry College, Rome, GA

“Arousing stepping percussion group named Molodi, brings the crowd to its feet.”
