In this rare solo set Bruce Forman will be playing the music of the late, great, Barney Kessel. Bruce had a close connection to Barney Kessel, and has his guitar today. Expect to hear the signature style of Kessel’s playing: single-note lines that weave into beautiful melodies. Kessel is iconic for bringing guitar into the jazz rhythm section to stay, showing the instrument’s capabilities. This will be a night of great jazz guitar, stories, and a fleeting opportunity to see Bruce perform live before he travels on from Colorado.
