Make your dreams of a White Christmas come true at the 1940s White Christmas Ball — 15th Anniversary Celebration, which will be held on the evening of Saturday, December 9 at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Convention Center, 650 15th Street, Denver, Colorado USA.
With lights, Christmas trees, and tinsel, the 1940s White Christmas Ball will feature big band music from the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, The Satin Dollz, the Hot Tomatoes and a new special treat of 1950s Mambo music and dancing in our new Mocambo Club with the Colorado Mambo Orchestra. Other artists will pay tribute to such 1940s and 1950s legends as Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Elvis! Also featured will be reenactments from, “It’s a Wonderful Life” and pictures with Santa. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle and dance among classic cars, props and lights from old movie sets. Visitors can shop for vintage and vintage-inspired gifts and clothing. The evening’s entertainment will also include swing dance demonstrations and lessons, and a dance contest.
This year, the highlights include– A tribute to 1940s and 50s Television During the Holidays! Featuring Vegas’s #1 Elvis, The Rat Pack, and Ed Sullivan himself (coming from Vegas too!)
Also featuring Hollywood’s Famous 1940s Club The MOCAMBO (in our second ballroom), with headlining act, The Colorado Mambo Orchestra (from Miami Sound Machine Founding member and featuring 1950s Cuban Mambo!)!

The best part? Attendees will be celebrating this cherished era for a great cause! The 1940s Ball donates a portion of ticket sales to non-profits close to our hearts. We’re proud to have donated over $113,000 to our charities.
Guests may arrive beginning at 5 p.m. for this year’s 1940s White Christmas Ball on Saturday, Dec. 9, for free swing dance lessons with Swing Nights Denver.
