KGNU Plant Sale: Master Gardener Advice

In line with KGNU’s annual plant sale, Richard Kieffer has a conversation with CSU Master Gardener Jim Askew about planting in Colorado. Askew offers advice on soil temperature, watering, ideal times to plant,  and other tips for a successful gardening season.

If gardening seems daunting, fear not. Askew offers a helpline number and website to ask a master gardener.

KGNU’s plant sale is coming up on June 4th from 9am to 3pm at 4700 Walnut Street in Boulder. Donations of starts, perennials, annuals and supplies are welcome now through May 28th in the backyard anytime.
