Protesters condemn Gov. Polis for speaking at Zionist conference in Denver amidst humanitarian crisis in Gaza

Close to a thousand Pro-Palestinian protestors shut down major streets and public transit going into downtown Denver this weekend. They held signs and shouted chants condemning the Jewish National Fund’s Global conference for Israel which was being held at the Denver Convention Center. The conference went on for three days, from this past Friday to Sunday, and protests occurred outside on each of those days.

The weekend’s protests also came in the wake of the one-week ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that ended on Friday.

KGNU’s Verity Matthews was there and joined KGNU’s Jackie Sedley to share interviews she did with protestors and observations from the protests.
