Isolating with Alok

Today’s show is a conversation with writer and activist Alok Vaid-Menon who was slated to be one of the keynote speakers at this year’s TRANSforming Gender Conference, which has been postponed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We discuss their new book, Beyond the Gender Binary, which can be preordered here. Alok gives advice for redefining beauty and shares the things that have been bringing them joy in isolation.
